Trail Tracker Darren Mace and Pascal sat down to catch-up after a memorable “vintage” of the Grischa Trail Ride. Both Darren and Pascal completed the last two editions of the event with their teams back-to-back and it was a good time to compare notes, discuss strategies and what riders can expect from the experience in the Grison Alps. Of course there is a bit more nuance to the Grischa Trail Ride, but the basic premise is this: ride as many trails between start and finish location as you can from a set “menu” of trails in a fixed time window – the team with the most trails wins! That being said, it is not a race by any stretch of the imagination and there are many ways to enjoy the three days on and off the bike. We share our best tips and trail ride hacks and of course relive the experience of a very wet day 3 of the 2023 Grischa Trail Ride.
