After leaving some unfinished business on the island last year, Pascal returned to finish Trans Madeira in 2023 and of course we sat down to debrief after the race, to find out how it went and what it really was like to do it on the hardtail! More importantly, we lay out the general principles of racing multi-day adventures, what to expect in terms of riding, preparation and planning as well as some of Pascal’s most helpful tips and tricks to help you get through an event like that.
