We sat down with Chris “Flying Grizzly” Visscher to talk about the GrizzlyLine in Lenzerheide, the secret to his whip and how he got to be the only bike-riding grizzly bear we know. Big events like Huckfest or Crankworx Whip-Offs have allowed him to showcase his unique style to a wider audience, but it’s his passion for bikes, the community and going big that are driving his video projects, social media work and riding today. Of course, Switzerland provides an amazing playground for a rider like Chris and we talk quite a bit about how the unique setting in this country could be even more present in his future projects, a notion we’ve also covered with James before. We also spend some time on his preparation away from the bike and on injury prevention, crashing and his recent move to one of our favourite riding destinations before we wrap up the show with our close-out questions.
